Oh, the suburbs. It's like I could just reach out and stick my hand into their kitchen if I wanted to.
Here's the new view off the back.
Yeah, there's houses back there. Way, way, way back there. But you have to walk across half an acre, plus a pretty dense wooded area to find them. I can have chickens here! I could even have a horse if I became insane and decided to buy a horse! And the beauty of it all is that it's only a mile away from my current house. Christopher doesn't have to change schools, Ashley doesn't have to change preschools, and we can stay close to the trappings of civilization that I've become so accustomed to. *cough*Starbucks*cough.
What's that? A barn? No, that's actually Matthew's new digs until he leaves for the Navy on March 1. More pics of the inside of that later, it's pretty cool. Especially if you're 19 and need a little space.

Oh, Kelley, I am so overjoyed for you. Your new old house is going to be so awesome when you get all moved in and situated (as my Mom calls it!). I know, you have lots to do but look what you have to do it with!! Luv the back screened in porch!! Bet you are looking forward to cooler weather so you can use it!! lol Love the pictures and your keeping us up with what is going on!!
